BAY RECORDS RELEASES CD

Bay Records of Berkeley, CA has released a compilation CD of their folk music label. Although functioning now as a recording studio, they started out as a record label and between 1972 and 1980 issued 17 LP’s of folk music, mostly by Bay Area musicians. These records are long out of print and somewhat hard to come by, so they’ve now released a compilation CD with cuts from various Bay records and a few unreleased takes. The package includes copious notes by owner Michael Cogan in which he tells all!
